Validation and Standards Compliance

This web site has been developed so that it conforms to the recommendations and specifications of the World Wide Web Consortium. This ensures that the content of the web site is accessible to more browsers and devices such as Braille readers, Palm handhelds, Pocket PCs, mobile phones, and text-only browsers. Browsers which do not adhere to W3C standards will still be able to view the content, but may not look as good as intended.

Our web pages use valid cascading style sheets and conform to the W3C standards. Pages with forms which require the "name" attribute to work are coded to the transitional standard but usually the strict version is used. We separate style from content where possible. All pages are checked for compatibility with the main browsers Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.

Every effort has been made to ensure the code meets current recommendations and specifications for XHTML 1.0 Strict, (sometimes Transitional), and CSS 1. If you are aware of any instances where our code does not work a compliant browser or does not meet the standards, please let us know.
